Privacy Policy

The CellVenom App collects a minimum amount of your personal information in order to insure functionality and ownership of the app and CellVenom device.

The CellVenom system only uses this information in order for the app to pair with your CellVenom device, make any necessary updates to the firmware, and send text messages to your friends in the event you may be in trouble.

The information required and what it is used for is as follows:

Your First and Last Name:To identify you as the owner of the CellVenom App and CellVenom device. Your first and last name are necessary to identify you with your CellVenom app and CellVenom device.

Your Cell phone number:To identify you as the owner of the CellVenom App and CellVenom device. Your cell phone number is necessary to identify you with your CellVenom app and CellVenom device.

Your Email address:To identify you as the owner of the CellVenom App and CellVenom device. Your email can be removed as stated below.

We may use your email to communicate with you about upcoming events, trainings, updates, issues, etc.; but we will NOT sell or share your email or any other information to any third party entities.

As is the norm, you will always be able to request having your email removed at any time by either replying to any email communication we send to you; using any opt out feature that may be contained in any email correspondence we send to you; or by emailing info@cellvenom.com and asking to have your email removed.

Your Friends Name and phone numbers: In order to add people to your Alert List, a First name, Last name and Cell phone number are required. This information will also NOT be sold or shared with any third party entities. You can edit and delete these friends at any time.

The information you provide, (name, phone, email), is stored in an encrypted data based currently provided by Google Cloud. The CellVenom App communicates with this database for any emergency text messages to be sent to your contacts that you have added. This information is used to confirm that you, your CellVenom App, and your CellVenom device are yours and yours alone.  You can read the Google Cloud privacy policy by visiting https://cloud.google.com/security/privacy/

Your Location:  An important feature in the CellVenom app is the ability to automatically notify up to four of your friends via text message that you may be in trouble, and where you are at that moment. The CellVenom app utilizes the location features in your smartphone to send your location to these friends in the form of a text message.

If you do not want your location to be used, simply turn off your location feature in your smartphone, or close and disconnect the CellVenom app.

Or, if you do not want to have the CellVenom app notify anyone that you may be in trouble and/or your location; simply do not add anyone to your Alert List.

Changes:  Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent. We will post any privacy policy changes on our website and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including email notification of privacy policy changes). We will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.

For Legal Reasons:  We will share personal information with companies, organizations, agencies or individuals outside of the CellVenom community if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:

· Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request

· Enforce applicable Terms of Service including investigation of potential violations

· Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues

· Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of CellVenom, our customers or the public as required or permitted by law
